We have a release date for Jurassic Park 4!  Anyone excited about it?  I guess if it was 10 years ago or so, we’d be.  Nonetheless, they are finally moving somewhere from limbo.

We’ve been hearing about a fourth Jurassic Park film for years, and it looks like it’s actually going to happen! Universal Pictures is planning to release it on June 13th, 2014. Steven Spielberg will be producing the film, but not directing. As of right now there’s no director attached to the project.

There’s still a long way to go before the actual release date.  They obviously need to find a director, and probably a screenwriter, before they even get to finding actors for the film.  And the whole post-production process is usually a much more daunting task than the production.  All we can do is see what happens next now that they’ve made this announcement.
