Tonight’s episode looks all serious!  Angels and demons, and Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) in the middle of it all.  You can check out the producer’s preview after the jump:

“In this episode we find Crowley [Mark Sheppard] going on offense,” says showrunner Jeremy Carver. “When he and his minions are basically working over a captured angel, hoping to find what makes an angel tick by basically dialing into this guy’s hard-wiring.”

The angel in question — who Dean sarcastically refers to as “Heaven’s most adorable” — is Samandiriel [Tyler Johnston], the angel from “What’s Up Tiger Mommy?”

Samandiriel is one of a few allies that Castiel [Misha Collins] still has in Heaven, so it makes sense that he’d want to stage a rescue mission. Unfortunately, Sam and Dean aren’t even close to seeing eye-to-eye after Dean’s allegiance to Benny [Ty Olsson]took a deadly turn in the last episode.

“What’s so powerful about Episode 10 is that the boys are really, really faced with deciding once and for all what’s most important going forward, and where they stand in each others’ lives,” Carver teases.
