We all know that Ryan Reynolds can actually play Hal Jordan fine (the storyline and visuals, however, are another thing), but would it be possible for Ryan to even consider making an appearance on a TV series, even one as popular as Arrow?
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim thinks so. And it looks like he’s been working some hints (or maybe teases) into the show for that kind of possibility.
“If all goes according to plan, when you see the Ferris Air logo later in the season, it will be the same logo that we established in the movie. I like tips of the hat.”
When the idea was bought up, he didn’t deny it, either:
“I would never say never,” he said. “It’s certainly something that we’ve talked about.
“As with all DC characters, we have to figure out a way for those characters to fit within our Arrow universe,” he continues. “But when you consider the importance that Hal Jordan plays in the Green Arrow comics, it’s certainly one of those names that we’ve discussed a great deal. I have Ryan Reynolds’ phone number around here somewhere.”
So, what do you think about that idea? Even if Ryan Reynolds wasn’t the one, do you think it’s possible to bring in a character like the Green Lantern onto the show? Would you want it?
