Now that some of the other fandoms have made a home in thefandom.net, I’ve been contemplating on another fandom to include here.  There are so many good books out there, but I can’t seem to get my mind off the completely re-imagined fairy tale characters written by Marissa Meyer in the Lunar Chronicles‘ series.

If you’ve already read the first 2 books, Cinder and Scarlet, I’m happy to let you know that Marissa has given us the first chapter of the 3rd book, Cress, a character based off of Rapunzel.  The book is scheduled for release on February 4, 2014, according to Marissa.  And we’ll be seeing the official book cover sometime within the next few weeks.

For now, we’ll just have the first chapter to contend with, which you can read below:
