CINDER & SCARLET Author Marissa Meyer to Appear at San Diego Comic-Con

I’m so excited for this year’s Comic-Con (although I say that every year), but I’m also dreading the fact that I’ll eventually miss out on something because I can attend all the panels that I want to.  Here’s one panel that I’m desperately hoping to be able to attend.  However, considering it’s on a Saturday, which is a big movie day in Hall H, I might not be able to attend this super-awesome panel.

With that said, that doesn’t mean that other Comic-Con attendees can’t attend, so here’s your chance to see some of your favorite authors talk about their books and the characters they’ve created that we’ve come to love, including our very own Marissa Meyer, author of the Lunar Chronicles series.

When Grrls Fall in Love, Saturday, 7/20/13, 11:00a.m. – 12:00p.m., Room: sdcc-logo23ABC

From The Hunger Games’ Katniss to Divergent’s Tris, no one knows how to give a solid ass-kicking like a young adult novel heroine. But when these young ladies aren’t saving the world, overthrowing powerful regimes, or slaying everything from zombies to dragons, they still find time for romance. Cassandra Clare (The Mortal Instruments), Ally Condie (Matched), Veronica Roth (Divergent), Holly Black (The Coldest Girl in Coldtown), Marissa Meyer (Scarlet), Lissa Price (Starters), and Veronica Wolff (The Watchers) discuss the delicate balance between killing and kissing, and what it takes to properly woo a YA heroine.

With Cinder and Scarlet already in stores, and Cress to come out next Spring, now’s your chance to ask her questions about the next book, including the new characters that will be introduced.

With some other well known authors with movies on the way, she’ll be in good company.
