I really was impressed with how Gustin Grant portrayed Barry Allen in Arrow, and I’m looking forward to seeing him as The Flash when the pilot comes out.

In the show, through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen (Gustin) is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive. Allen was introduced on the CW series Arrow this season but The Flash won’t make his debut until the pilot, co-starring Jesse L. Martin and executive produced by co-writers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg and director David Nutter. Production begins next week.

Kreisberg has done an excellent job in making Arrow work, but considering that Barry Allen does have that bit of superhuman power in him, it’ll be interesting to see how much of that will play out throughout the show, especially if they want to keep it just as grounded in reality as Arrow.  But I do like the forces working behind the camera on this as much as the talent in front of it.
