The new CW series, Star-Crossed, seemed like another whiny teen angst series that I would have no problem in throwing by the wayside. However, the first episode revealed it was far more exploratory than your normal teen drama, mixing in not only the teen romance elements, but also the social, political, and cultural elements as well, making the show all the more relatable to the issues of today’s society, sci-fi elements aside.
And so I was quite excited to get a chance to speak with a few of the stars from the show, including Matt Lanter, who plays the main male protagonist (and alien), Roman, at the Divergent world premiere that took place on March 18th in Los Angeles, CA.
I also did get a chat a bit with Greg Finley, who worked with Divergent star Shailene Woodley on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and talk about his alien character, Drake…
And Grey Damon (Greyson), who plays human Greyson.
Admittedly, I was not as prepared as I could have been, but the guys were very courteous, and yes, they are just as handsome in person as they are on the screen. Also, sorry for some of the out-of-focus spots during the interviews. The camera apparently found the background more interesting than the actors being interviewed. The camera and I are no longer friends.
